As part of a new initiative we would be developing a Dashboard Portal and Data Warehouse to track and manage metrics automatically, over time and in many dimensions. The team is responsible for implementing new application components, integrating existing components for the dashboard/portal and pulling together data from various sources. 5+ Years of financial industry background is mandatory Strong knowledge of Financial Product trade flows of any of the Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives products Should have worked on Technology projects touching one or more areas of trading, accounting, back office operations or MIS Good knowledge of daily PNL, Product/Finance/Operations control functions Experience interacting with business users and collecting the reporting requirements. Strong experience preparing and making presentations to senior management and business partners. Must be comfortable creating C-level presentations Ability to facilitate JAD sessions, conduct interviews, develop process and data flow diagrams in Visio (mandatory). Be able to work with Sharepoint 5+ yrs of strong experience with Oracle 9i and/or 10g Ability to query the database using SQL Advanced level knowledge of using Excel for data analysis Experience reporting on dimensions and hierarchy data Some knowledge of Business Objects Reporting Some knowledge of Essbase cubes Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills Good background working with quantitative data Pluses: Experience with data modeling Any OLAP skills Experience with Hyperion Essbase Exceptional visualization presentation skills Sharepoint ?power user? programming skills
