Security consultant
Responsibilities
Participate in a wide range of activities including requirements analysis, compliance assessments, strategy development, and solution design. Identify and resolve engagement issues. Escalate where necessary. Determine and initiate required engagement follow-up and/or additional analyses. Keep client satisfaction focused. Help to ensure team client satisfaction goals are achieved. Has knowledge and experience in one or more practice or solution areas. Understand and employ standard methodologies to implement solutions. Deliver assigned work on time, on budget, and with high quality deliverables. Assist in the development of engagement proposals and SOWs. Participate in other business development activities, as required. Participate in at least one Center of Excellence. Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years experience.; ability to lead small engagements.
Qualifications
2-4 years experience in a consulting environment or as a System or Network Administrator. Working knowledge of various security methodologies and processes. Knowledge of configuring and implementing technical security solutions (firewalls and intrusion detection systems). Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and analysis. Excellent customer interface skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of common internet protocols and applications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
