Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Director of IT Risk. The base location of this position is open. POSITION DETAILSThis position manages the team that provides governance, strategic direction, consultation, reporting, and leadership on business continuity (BC) and emergency preparedness enterprise-wide. The BC Director global leadership role requires working experience with managing risk and compliance across a broad range of business and technology environments. Familiarity with coordinating multiple work streams, communicating to varied audiences and partnering with a diverse group of organizations to meet objectives are essential skills for the BC Director. The candidate should have experience with regulatory compliance and interacting with internal and external auditors, bank and regulatory examiners. A background in managing business disruption risk is valued, in particular when combined with familiarity with crisis management and emergency preparedness practices.BEST INDUSTRY – Financial ServicesBEST DEPARTMENT – IT
Experience: Bachelors Degree is required.Minimum of 5+ years managing and directing a team that provides governance, strategic direction, consultation, reporting, and leadership on business continuity (BC) and emergency preparedness enterprise-wide. Familiarity with coordinating multiple work streams, communicating to varied audiences and partnering with a diverse group of organizations to meet objectives are essential skills. The candidate should possess 2 – 3 years experience with regulatory compliance and interacting with internal and external auditors, bank and regulatory examiners.
