Position: Java Developer



We are looking for a bright, motivated Java developer to join one of our equity technology software development teams, where he or she will develop software in support of equity and equity derivative analytics, trading, quantitative portfolio construction and risk management. The developer will work directly with relevant trading personnel, taking software implementation through the full life-cycle of business analysis, design, development, through to deployment.



The ideal candidate would be a Computer Science graduate from a top university, with 2-6 years of relevant experience in the financial industry. Java is the primary technical skill, with rudimentary SQL abilities also required. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, inter-personal skills, analytical proficiency, as well as professionalism are essential. Knowledge of any of the following areas is beneficial: equity trading, equity algorithms, order management systems, equity factor models, VaR analysis.
