Overview of the Role: Need an experienced business analyst to help build the next generation trade processing system for global rates derivatives. The platform will be used by front office (sales) trade capture and matching. It will also be used for trade maintenance by middle office - allocations, novations, terminations, STP flows, exception handling and other such functionality. The person will need to perform the following tasks in this role: Gather and document system functionality of the existing rates derivatives systems for key stakeholder groups across the globe. Help define the end state desired functionality and work with the development team and key users to design a system to provide it. Prepare project analysis/requirements documentation - screens, BRD, FRD, use cases, upstream/downstream flows and system integration / test plans. Drive end-to-end reconciliation of derivatives trades through their lifecycle - vanilla and exotic interest rate swaps and credit swaps. Skills: Prior experience with analysis/build out of trade capture and processing systems for IR derivatives. Ability to grasp and clearly articulate complex processes and problems. Expertise in visio and office productivity tools. Tech savvy - experienced with dealing closely with technology teams through delivery cycle. Prior experience with retiring complex legacy systems with global user base preferred but not essential.
