Due to our consistent growth and prosperity, we are looking to fill a key MIS Analyst III role within the Credit Data Strategy group of M&T Bank. RESPONSIBILITIES:As a member of the Credit Data Strategy group, this individual will assist with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data capture, analysis and reporting solutions to meet the internal and external commercial credit information needs of the Credit Division.  Candidate would:Work with multiple Credit Division units and various technical business partners to devise data capture, storage, reporting and analytic solutions to meet present and future commercial credit information requirements.Identify, document and implement process efficiency projects within the Credit Division.Maintain, document and support existing applications, data and reporting solutions built within the Credit Data Strategy group, including those built in conjunction with Central Technology.Research and provide recommendations on state-of-the-art data capture, storage and retrieval strategies, tools and methodologies.Provide consultant services to division partners when requested and offer insight to best practices when it comes to data retrieval, storage and management.Support of the Commercial Credit Data Quality Review group from a data capture and reporting perspective.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree required.  Minimum two (2) years advanced level ad-hoc reporting experience.Must have experience with SQL Server and Visual Studio.Minimum two (2) years experience writing technical documentation and procedures.Strong time management skills with attention to detail and accuracyStrong written & verbal communication skills to be able to present to a target audienceProficient in the use of MS Office 2007 toolsStrong Excel & Access skills to the VBA levelGood project lead/management experienceIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Experience developing solutions incorporating SQL Server databases with .NET front ends using Visual Studio .NET tools and object oriented development techniques (C#, VB.Net and the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0 is preferred)Windows Server 2003 or later administration.Working knowledge of the information capabilities of the bank’s commercial loan accounting systems – AFS, Datalink, CLCS, IDS (InfoLease), and/or Shaw is a plus
