Experience: Our client is looking to hire a Business Analyst on a 3 month contract to perm basis.
Key Requirements:
5-7 years business analysis experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
Experience as a business analyst in web application development / information architecture projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface with both technical and business individuals
Experience with Mutual Funds, Asset Management or Fund Management industry software and/or systems.
Required Experience:
Developing and documenting business requirements for complex financial applications, preferably at a Mutual Fund, Asset Management or Fund Management
company
Developing wireframes, storyboards and prototypes for web-based applications
Formal business analysis techniques such as use case analysis, business process reengineering, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Modeling, Prototyping, and Entity Relationship diagrams
Learning complex financial products and new business domains rapidly, with a knowledge of life insurance and annuity products and services (including data providers within the industry) a distinct advantage
Quality initiatives such as CMMi, Six Sigma, ISO 9000 and/or FDA GMP to ensure best-practice processes and procedures are followed.
Participation in BRD inspections, walkthroughs and peer reviews with a focus on defect detection, correction and metrics
