Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills:

Desktop Support/Help Desk Agents

MUST have previous Corporate Desktop Support experience.

Provide Information Technology support for employees via helpdesk and deskside support
First line of support for employee technical support

Responsibilities
Answer telephone and resolve a variety of computer hardware and software application or local area networking questions and problems of moderate complexity.
Applies specific technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to simulate employee problems and resolve the problem timely.
Understands basic concepts as well as has a good foundation of all supported products and able to isolate problems and troubleshoot effectively to determine if call is to be passed to a higher level.
Able to assist in the problem resolution and correct at least 65% of the problems encountered.
Accurately records problem and solution to assist in the expansion of the Help Desk technical database.
Owns responsibility to drive to completion, all service activity or to execute a clean handoff of that responsibility to another member of the staff
Perform other duties and projects assigned by management
Performs complex and technically demanding work within technical or paraprofessional.
Provides support to customers by resolving complex technical application problems.
Maintains log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to product development.
Provides recommendations for improving team processes and procedures.

Minimum A+ certification, 2 year technical degree or related certifications and experience.

2-5 years technical experience and technical help desk experience. 2-5 years customer support

Highly skilled in Microsoft suite of products, technical degree or certifications. 2 plus year in customer support environment
