SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TECHNOLOGY - Fixed Income
Global Markets Practice
As Senior Associate, Technology you will help to realize innovative IT solutions for our clients in the area of Trading and Risk Management (TRM) solutions. With your strong experience you will provide leadership to your small international team to deliver components of the overall IT architecture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, plan and implement IT solutions for a Java and/or .NET technical environment
Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers/engineers
Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
Project Manage scope, time and quality throughout the project life-cylcle
Facilitate and drive workshops and client meetings in order to help to translate business requirements into system design
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Strong, hands-on experience with Java and/or .NET technology development; architecture experience a plus
Fixed Income experience required
End-to-end experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile methodologies
Experience in a consultancy or similar client-facing environment
Project leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision
Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
Openness to frequent overnight travel and work at client offices
