1. Expertise with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems (Windows XP/7 and 2000/2003/2008)
2. Deep technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g., AD, GPO, CIFS) within the enterprise
3. Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environments
4. Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e., parsing event log)
5. Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (i.e., system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks)
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Scripting ability is highly desired (i.e., Perl, Batch, Altiris, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
8. Deep technical understanding of Windows Printing infrastructure services
Pluses:
1. Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e., VMWare, XenServer, Citrix) is a plus
2. Experience with enterprise security technologies (i.e.. PKI, encryption, DLP) is a plus
