We are actively recruiting for a junior-mid level web operations engineer for a direct hire spot at our Rochester client.

In the job, you will be part of the team that is the "glue" that keeps the entire web presence up and running. They run all of these technologies across all flavors of Unix as well as Windows.

General Purpose:
Provides technical expertise and direction in the design, implementation and support of all multifaceted web infrastructure and supporting middleware (internal and external).

Responsible for a broad range of integration and ongoing maintenance tasks between new and existing technologies while ensuring availability and interoperability in the highly variable web environment.

Specific Responsibilities:
. Provides 3rd level support for all production web infrastructure components by participating in the Incident Escalation process
. Maintains existing infrastructure for all web environments in order to provide maximum service and product availability
. Demonstrates well developed troubleshooting and problem solving skills to ensure product delivery and high levels of availability
. Understands complex task relationships and successfully self-directs work to complete assignments with minimal direction
. Commits to staying current in all web technologies and trends in the marketplace to ensure the "best fit" solution is considered an implemented according to current industry best practices
. Actively promotes systematic, disciplined and quantifiable approaches towards successful development of high-quality, ubiquitously usable Web-based systems and applications to ensure the highest level or quality and serviceability in the web space
. Performs all duties in accordance with Data Security policies relative to enterprise computing and access to ensure full legislative and narrative compliance
. Engages in appropriate Business Continuity Planning, Operational Level Agreement (OLA) commitment design, and process engineering to produce the best deliverables possible

Requirements:
. Experience working with highly available web technologies is preferred.
