Lead Data Analyst/Architect in Rochester, NY

Our client is looking to hire a Data Analyst.

Experience:
SQL Server 2005 - Management Studio, SSIS and Reporting Service (Required)
TSQL (Required)
Microsoft Access - VBA, Access SQL (Required)
Crystal Reports (Required)
Knowledge of Relational Database/Data Modeling (Required)
Excellent Problem Solving/Data Analysis Skills (Required)
SAS (Preferred)
Microsoft Visual Studio - especially Visual Basic and VB.NET (Preferred)
Internet Technologies/Web Services (Preferred)
Clinical Trials Experience (Preferred)



Experience: Essential Functions:
1. Develop technical solutions to improve the following:
a. Data quality for study/protocol data
b. Extraction and transformation for study/protocol data
c. Custom reports for both internal and external client needs.
d. Internal processes for the Clinical Trial's Division

2. Responsible for defining data management standards for the Clinical Trial's Data Management Group.

3. Reviews and inspect the extraction and transformation processes developed by the Clinical Trial's Data Management Group.

4. Provide technical support to Clinical Trial's Data Management group and other internal and external customers.

5. Maintains broad knowledge base of current data management technologies and provides Clinical Trial's Data Management with direction in use of current technologies.

6. Reviews the Data Management Agreements along with internal and external data specification documents.

7. Support/Assists the Clinical Trials Data Management Group with the management of clinical studies from database set-up through database lock, including the creation of data cleaning plan, definition and validation of edit checks, data review and coding and data reconciliation.

8. Performs duties with a general working knowledge of Food & Drug Administration (FDA), New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Committee of Harmonization (ICH), and other pertinent regulations, as pertains to central laboratory functions.
