Sr. C#/C++ Developer/Architect - Fixed Income Trading in New York, NY

Hands-on senior developer on a focused technology team servicing the Credit Trading business. This individual would be responsible for;

Overall Responsibilities:
Architecture, Development and Support of electronic and odd lot trading platform for the Credit business. Role will include architecture and development of the front, middle and database tiers of this n-tier application.
- Development of new software to specification
- Design of new software components and services.
- Maintenance of existing base of software for multiple front office applications.
- Test Systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration)

Functional Responsibilities:
- Architecture, design and build out of electronic trading platform for credit
- Develop and unit test code in a rapid moving and changing environment
- Work with senior business users, business analysts to understand user requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Prepare technical code and support documentation for the delivered application components.

Experience
- Well rounded individual with good all round technical skills and a good problem solver.
- Strong practical experience of building solutions in the electronic trading space - with exposure to MarketAxess, TradeWeb and other ECNs
- Strong practical C++/C#, SQL Server, Oracle language experience.
- Strong architecture and design integration.
- Experience of Bloomberg and Fixed Income instruments.

C#, C++, Java, Ajax, Javascript, Database (SQLServer 2000 and Oracle.), Multithreading / Distributed Processing , Oracle 10G, Web Services (SOAP, XML, WSDL); Excel

Essential
- Experience in build out of fixed income electronic trading platforms
- Strong practical ECN development experience with MarketAxess, TradeWeb and/or other ECNs
- Strong practical C# and C++
- Database development experience

Desirable
- Knowledge of Bond trading, Matrix Pricing, and Risk & Analytics
- SDLC or similar software lifecycle methodologies
- Experience in front-to-back processing of Bonds
