Description Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking a Business Analyst. Location: New York, NY Duration: Permanent Business Case: Emerging Markets (EM) requires a Business Analyst to support the current lights on as well as strategic initiatives. Candidate Requirement Summary: Business Analyst for the EM Credit IT team dealing with front office marking, valuation and risk for EM credit products. High energy, quick-learning, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills able to produce in-depth, well written documents used as a basis for planning and prioritizing our resources. Core Responsibilities: Interact with traders, developers, middle-office, finance and risk to produce high quality documents detailing requirements and product workflows for valuation, risk, P&L and explains as well as front-to-back interactions Responsible for the analysis and documentation for work on integrating EM credit/rates products for migration of Legacy credit and rates systems to Client credit systems. Products include: Bonds (USD/EUR & Local CCY), CDS, Total Return Swaps, Credit Range Accruals, Bond Forwards, Constant Maturity CDS, Quantos (IR Swap With FX Component), IR Swaps, FX Spot , FX Forwards, Brazil Local Market Swaps, Bond Options. Existing products in Legacy systems require documentation of EM specific features and existing gap analysis Currently non existing products in Client system require documentation of all requirements to handle product set, trade booking, valuation, P&L and risk capture Troubleshoot trading desk calculation inquiries (ie trader questioning P&L calculation) Ensure all emerging markets specific gaps are highlighted and documented Provide project support for strategic initiatives Required Skills: Excellent written and communication skills with proven track record of analysis and workflow documentation. Knowledge of Fixed Income products (preferably credit and rates). Ability to troubleshoot P&L and Risk inquires for Fixed Income products Excellent ability to work with business resources from management to staff at all levels.
