Description Our client, a major global financial services provider engaged in retail and commercial banking, is seeking a Project Manager. Location: New York, NYContract Position Seeking to hire a Project Manager to join the Research Publications IT team. Research Publications builds and supports authoring and distribution systems, research archives and web sites for the complete process of creating research and delivering to our clients. This role will focus on managing the process of costing requirements, interact with multiple development teams to assess and build accurate calendars for deliverables, track and manage progress and rollouts, and prepare project updates and presentations. Main Duties Manage requirements gathering & definition of deliverables, scheduling releases, multiple team resource allocation with Microsoft project, reporting and presentation Interact with project stakeholders and the technology team to implement pragmatic solutions in a timely manner Assist research and technology teams in evaluating tradeoffs between quality, features and delivery Person Requirements Extensive project management and business analysis experience Microsoft Project expertise Strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements gathering & documentation methodologies Good communication and presentation skills
