Description Our client, a major global financial services provider engaged in retail and commercial banking, is seeking a Securitized Products IT - Java Web Developer Location: New York, NY Fulltime Position Securitized Products IT is responsible for development and support of front office technology for the global Residential, Commercial and Asset Backed Securities trading desks. The group develops trading and risk management systems, analytics tools, straight through processing, and a full range of feeds that connect front and Back Office systems. Main Function We seek a motivated, analytics-minded developer that will work on a variety of web-based tools for trading, research, strategies and the investor clients. The tools interact with sophisticated mathematical models developed by quantitative analysis group and help our users to analyze and project performance of mortgage- and asset-backed securities. Our tools are also relied on by many buy-side and investor clients of Brokerage Firm Capital via Live web portal. Person Requirements Strong object-oriented analysis and design, at least 3 years hands-on experience with the following: Java, J2EE Application Servers (Weblogic preferred), Spring, JMS, relational databases (Sybase and Oracle preferred). Knowledge of Adobe Flex and Microsoft Analysis Services or other OLAP product is a plus.
