We are looking to add an exceptional Database Developer, with superior knowledge and expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle database design and development to our team of senior, Application Developers. Technical Requirements:
? Solid, demonstrated understanding of database design and performance tuning in large enterprise software design and architecture
? Data modeling and relational databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle, and multiple DMBS) experience
? Business intelligence and data analytics experience is preferred
? Demonstrated experience with scripting and creation of stored procedures essential
? Storage infrastructure experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
? Work with development team to provide interface logic along with internal stored procedures and scripts
? Provide technical expertise to functional and detailed designs.
? Proficient in the usage of relational and multi-dimensional database models within a business application.
? Recommend optimizations and reconfigurations of physical application designs and data structures.
? Engage with business users, analysts, technical staff, and project team members to design, develop, implement, and enhance applications.
? Work with database administrators to migrate applications from development and testing to production.
? Recommend and evaluate new tools and methodologies.
? Provide full life cycle architectural guidance and ensure quality deliverables.
? Participate in the development and maintenance of corporate data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries and data element naming standards.
? Assist in the development of overall project plans and timetables.
