Qualitek Services has an immediate 12 months+ contract opening for an RF Analog Test Technician with Agile experience in Rochester, New York (NY).
REQUIRED SKILLS
****Must be a US Citizen****
Candidate must have a minimum of a High School Diploma with at least 3 years of previous work experience in RF testing.
Experience in design/development engineering, can interpret schematics, is familiar with test and debug of microprocessor or DSP based digital circuits.
Experienced with Agile configuration management systems. Basic hardware troubleshooting ability of analog and RF circuits.
Capable of performing circuit board modifications using SMT and Through Hole technology.
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal. Team oriented individual.
Special Skills Required (i.e. Microsoft Word, Troubleshoot to component level, etc.):
Electronic CAD experience, Mentor Graphics preferred.
Programming experience in VB, Lab View, or C a plus.
Analog background including experience with DC power supplies and RF power amplifiers a plus.
Experience with RF test equipment such as Arbitrary Waveform Generators highly desired. FPGA programming and testing experience a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for evaluating electronic parts and components through a comparison of performance specifications to device datasheets, test and evaluation of component samples, prototype testing, using analog and digital test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, analysis and reporting of test results.
Design and fabrication of test circuits and test fixtures for the evaluation of prototype hardware, and facilitating the release of new products, hardware assemblies, and firmware into production.
Waveform evaluation testing using complex signal generators and spectrum analyzers to determine effectiveness of the waveform.
Pay Rate: $41/hr MAX DOE
