One of SGA's major clients is seeking a Business Analyst with a financial services background for a contract role in New York City. Focus on this role will be market data and pricing of portfolio data. Experience with delayed, snap, and streaming quote feeds with a strong working knowledge of portfolio data is highly preferred.
Each of the consultants is required to have strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support a given project. The business experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project. The candidates that we had looked at in the past had hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained (generally the folks would have transitioned to project management/analysis some time in the career). We are looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve
Roles and Responsibilities: -Work as an independent business analyst within Broker Dealer Services Product Development group-Exposure to market data and portfolio systems -Write requirements for portfolio pricing project-Familiarity with broker dealer workstations a plus-Manage and own project open issues tracking list and ensure proper closure
