-Responsible for designing, coding, testing and delivering ATG/WebSphere web applications solutions for highly trafficked e-commerce websites.
-Analyzes existing e-commerce websites to develop baseline existing feature and functionality requirements.
-Prepares object-oriented designs using UML to capture the key domain classes, business process functions and external system interfaces.
-Analyzes new business requirements, reconciles with existing site functionality.
-Revises existing site design artifacts to reflect the proposed new system design using UML modeling notation, including class, sequence, state-transition and activity diagrams.
-Designs, codes and unit tests the service-based Java interfaces for the Application Services layer of the e-commerce web application.
Experience: -Minimum 3+ years experience designing and building ATG and/or J2EE e-commerce application systems. -Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and prepare application designs using standard J2EE design patterns and best practices. -Proficient with object-oriented design, J2EE design patterns and UML modeling notation. -Minimum 2+ years, hands-on experience with ATG 4.x+ eCommerce Suite.
