In this role, the successful candidate will perform effective diagnosis and accurate assessment of client issues and undertake the engagement from origination through execution, be it a crisis / critical situation, pre- or post-sales event, or other customer-facing activities such as technical conferences and user groups. Strong Deployment skills or strong J2EE Application Analysis skills are essential. You must have at least 3-5 years of industry and/or IT consulting experience, with a strong J2EE background. You must be adept at web-based transaction processing methods; Strong J2EE development and/or architecture background; Strong communication skills and confidence under pressure; Strong application performance management/performance tuning background; Legacy system integration (e.g. CICS, IMS) background helpful.
This position includes the following:
* Permanent position with large corporation; excellent benefits; bonus potential.
* Annual salary of $80,000 to $128,000+ (Target = <$105,000).
* Live anywhere in the US; access to major airport.
* 40 to 50 hour work week.
* 60%+ travel, Monday through Friday, home weekends; possible international travel initially.
