You will be participating in the over all analysis and mainframe development for the project, as the mandatory skills indicate. If you have both mainframe COBOL/DB2 and the desirable skills, Cold Fusion /VB.NET disciplines then it will allow flexibility for assignments that are not limited to the mainframe development support. The core competencies need to be mainframe COBOL/CICS/DB2 and IDMS/ADSO. This position will be technical, and require hands on analysis and development skills.
The duties involve participating on a project team as a development lead analyst and developer. The existing system will be converted, redeveloped, and extended from an IDMS based system and integrated with the existing application processing which uses DB2 as the mainframe platform and Cold Fusion/VB.NET for interface support.
