Realtime programming in modern 32 bit embedded controllers using objected oriented programming and assembly language. Architect, design, implement and test in a rapid development environment with a highly capable team using state-of-the-art tools . Experience in Rational Rose ClearCase, ClearQuest & RT is preferred. Proficiency in C++ is required. Responsibilities: Work with cross functional teams on optics, electronics, and measurements to interpret and generate software requirements Design and implement embedded code in a modern 32 bit microcontroller on existing platform for the requirements Closely work with other software and hardware engineers to alter or develop Use configuration management tools such as ClearCase Do peer code review and work with Software Test Engineer for generating and implementing validation plan Closely work with highly capable and motivated team of software engineers to maintain tight baseline code Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering Five or more years of experience in embedded programming and object oriented software development (C++) Experience and expertise in Rational Rose tool set is preferred Previous supervisory experience a plus, but not required.
