Technical Business Analyst in Passenger Communications Technology IS group for Performance Based Specifications for this group.

Need a technical BA to deal with application switches, design performance, performance tasks...create business requirements. Need to be comfortable going through design documents, and write estimates for how long will take...understand man hour estimates. During the Bus Req stage they need to determine: What do rail customers need (passenger info). Prior Transit exp as a customer would help. Need to go deeper into what can go wrong. Need to target cases to test for, e.g., scheduling. Need to know GPS (vehicle location systems) Know train control from a train dispatching view Good with statistics Recognize there is variation (there are no absolutes) specify for National ITS Architecture (detail in comments section). Understand management of software development.. SDLC. CSQE is a plus Be familiar with testing...automated and manual...not critical automated. Strong documentation skills

Duration 6 months to 1 year...but if done well.. they will keep on indefinitely as need people in this group. Great environment, Newark by Penn Station.. easy access by trains from NYC or south.
