The role is for an experienced Java developer to contribute on the addition of features and enhancements to the Institutional Portal web application. The Portal serves as the primary channel for distributing research, analytics, market data and portfolio data to institutional clients.
Position Description: Experience: (Mandatory) -5 years Java experience including multithreading, synchronization, collections, and common Java design idioms. -In-depth experience writing and tuning SQL(prefer Sybase). -Java Server Pages. -Familiar with web technologies including HTTP and HTML. -UNIX. -Knowledge of XML and parsing. (Preferred) -Sybase experience including development of stored procedures and TSQL. -Practical experience with JavaScript, DHTML and Ajax browser technologies. -Perl and shell scripting. -Struts, Velocity and Tomcat.
