*Candidates must respond with the Tekmark job number, 56280 in the subject line* 2 PeopleSoft Testers on a RTH 7hr day Client is working with City agencies responsible for citywide HR and Benefits functions to modify and implement PeopleSoft HRMS in support of their responsibilities. The City of New York has engaged an outside consultant for the PeopleSoft development, integration, and implementation. The Project Team will be responsible for a defined subset of that work, for transitioning the application to a steady state and for providing support in the production environment. The City expects to implement functionality in phases over a period of several years. The Project Team subset of work can be categorized into three (3) main tracts: New Functionality Releases: Expansion of the current functionality baseline to incorporate new PeopleSoft modules and/or new functionality of existing modules; Existing Functionality: Related to fixes/patches/upgrades of code and production support (To date there have been two releases of basic HR and Benefits functionality that were deployed the first in August of 2005 and the second in January of 2006); Agency Rollout Support: Related to the adding of City Agencies to PeopleSoft Platform. Job Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience, skills, and education: Required Qualifications: 2+ years experience as a tester with PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades 2+ years experience creating test plans, test scripts, test cases and test documentation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, recreation and documentation of software problems) 2+ years experience testing interfaces with legacy systems 2+ yrs experience performing data analysis using PeopleTools (SQR and SQL) 3+yrs experience using automated testing and performance testing tools (preferably Mercury automation tools [Test Director, WinRunner and Load Runner]) 3+ years experience with Benefits, Benefits Administration and HR Query Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of progressively more responsible, full-time, satisfactory experience executing testing methodologies, test plans, test cases and resolving software issues Experience working on an enterprise wide project. Experience working within a matrix environment. Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills Education: Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science from an accredited college At Tekmark, we know that there are no limits to where imagination and technology can go.
