Job Requirements: Bachelor*s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience, - 2 + years minimum of Siebel administration experience. - Completion of Siebel Core Consultant training and Siebel 7 certification preferred. - Experience in Siebel Application Administration, Siebel 7.7x, and SQL Server database and Analytics. - Experience migrating data between databases and administering mobile web and dedicated clients. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and communicate complex technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong technical skills with the ability to coordinate, manage, and ensure the success of Siebel deployments. - Excellent task management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be available to work flexible hours and across continents.

Requirements:

Job Description:Provides ongoing Siebel application support and maintenance of the Siebel production environment, including application monitoring, issue resolution, fail-over and fail-back testing, and working with the appropriate technical support staff (internal and vendor). Provides support as needed for the Siebel development, test, and conversion environments. Assists in release and migration planning. Plays a role in the creation of new technical Siebel environments and establishing appropriate standards and strategies for these environments. Participates in application release process. Runs data imports in conjunction with the data cleansing team. Manages Siebel servers monitoring the logs and statistics reports, updating the server software as appropriate, providing backup and disaster recovery, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems in order to provide a reliable Siebel environment for end users. Defines mobile users and initializes mobile user local databases. Interacts with IT support, LAN/WAN engineers, and other staff to provide second and third level support for the Siebel network. Troubleshoots architecture problems as needed. Protects the overall security of the Siebel network through the administration of database access control lists, LDAP authentication and/or server security measures. Consults with Siebel developers on issues related to the impact of development on the corporate Siebel infrastructure. -
