Experience: We need a senior developer to work on multi-tier, multi-user applications that run in a browser or on the desktop. You'll design, create and enhance business applications that help clients streamline workflows, using a leading-edge application framework based on Java and XML. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team in our Chelsea (NYC) office that includes business analysts and writers as well as developers.
Your proven technical record includes:
. A senior role designing and implementing software
. Seeing projects through to maintenance and enhancement
. Five years' experience working on medium- to large-scale applications
. Five years' experience in object-oriented analysis and design
. Four years' experience in Java
. Experience in Windows and XML technologies
. Following and contributing to standards and processes
. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, relational database design, TCP/IP networking and distributed architectures - a plus
