Mandatory Skills.
1. A minimum of eight (8) years experience in coding SQL to perform database tasks such as inserts, updates and deletes; and creating and understanding inner/outer joins and "group by having'' statements.
2. A minimum of eight (8) years experience interpreting physical database models and understanding relational database concepts such as indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints.
3. A minimum of eight (8) years experience working with Sybase ASE server 11.0 or higher
THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE
1. A minimum of eight years (8) years experience in coding in Sybase Transact-SQL and Stored Procedures. 2. A minimum of three (3) year experience with Sybase PowerDesigner 9.0 or higher.
3. A minimum of two (2) years experience in writing, optimizing and troubleshooting dynamically created Sybase Transact-SQL within Sybase Stored Procedures. 4. A minimum of two (2) years experience working with Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) SQL server version 12.5 or higher.
5. Certified as a Sybase Professional DBA. Provide year of certification.
6. A minimum of three (3) years experience in data standardization and probabilistic record linkage using MatchWare Technologies AutoStan and AutoMatch software or IBM Quality Stage.
Experience: Sybase DBA in a large environment. This is three years worth of work initially and could be extended for a total of five years, not due to start until August 27th
