DoubleClick is seeking a senior level project manager to work on one of our top tier clients. Client centricity is a must.
Must be willing to manage a virtual team of resources from Product Management, Engineering and the Services organization and drive a company wide effort to delight our customer.
5-10 Years of Client Facing Project Management required. As this person leads a virtual team, Prior Management experience preferred Online Advertising knowledge preferred Must be able to demonstrate past experience implementing sustainable process related to large scale custom development. Must have prior exposure to Advertising Agency operations.
The Program Manager serves as the leader for complex and integrated solutions delivery defined as a possible combination of multiple products and/or projects, custom development/integration and associated business strategy and process work. Manage overall customer expectations and scope as well as guide core delivery groups. Besides having financial and resource management, this leadership position requires a balance of business strategy and technical competency around marketing systems and processes. From a strategic standpoint, the Program Manager will guide assessments and recommendations for solutions the delivery organization provides to meet ongoing strategic customer needs. Technically, this resource must have a sense of how solutions designed to meet customer needs can be accomplished along with the level of effort involved. Finally, the Program Manager must be the driver of organizational change management and the effect of these new solutions on day-to-day business activities.
A. Key Accountabilities
- Identifies project opportunities based on strategic vision and priorities and assess the impact to existing or new environments.
- Coordinates and prioritizes resources across projects, departments, and entities Overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of any project within the Program.
- Sets and directs the tactical design and approach for the core delivery teams to use as a standardized approach across multiple projects.
- Leads or participates in joint planning efforts with the client and internal resources to ensure program and project success
- Helps identify and recommends required client support resources (SMEs and Data Stewards) and escalates associated issues with those resources, if necessary.
- Validates all deliverables are consistent with business and technical objectives and best practices procedures.
- Controls program budget and core delivery group resources
- Ensures adherence to quality assurance processes and enforces quality control procedures.
- Report progress and critical issue escalation to client sponsors as well as key internal DoubleClick groups such as Account Management.
- Tracks and manages program-level issues and risks.
- Overall ''marketer'' to help stakeholders communicate program solutions and capabilities.
C. Staff
- Virtual project team members indirectly report to the Program Manager
D. Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- 5 to 10 years experience in managing large scale technical programs/projects.
- Demonstrated core business acumen and technical aptitude Familiarity with marketing applications and processes Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with internet protocol and technology.
- Familiarity with computer languages such as HTML, XML, C++ or any high level computer language.
- Advanced knowledge in MS office suite products.
- Leadership and ability to interact with senior level executives as well as day-to-day management and analysis.
- Must have a strong balance of technical and business knowledge to understand the impact of marketing technology solutions on day-to-day business activities
E. Educational Background: BS, Master's preferred.
