BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T's Consumer Credit Risk division, the MIS Analyst III would analyze data pertaining to department, developing spreadsheets/reports and making recommendations for submission to management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and maintains complex datasets from a variety of disparate sources that are used in creation of advance models
Responsible for reporting and database maintenance and development/programming of complex reports and spreadsheets
Participates and works as a team member/leader on various departmental projects
Conducts and completes research on a timely and ad hoc basis for various departmental projects
May be a LAN administrator
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or above in Information Systems or Finance or have 5 years experience in related environment
Minimum of seven years experience in the Information Systems field
Thorough knowledge of MS Office and SAS modeling
Expert in PC or mainframe programming, development and/or implementation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present to a target audience
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Thorough knowledge of mainframe applications
MBA preferred
