May perform one or more of the following:



Our Information Technology department is seeking an advanced multi-disciplined individual experienced in Windows desktop configuration and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.



The position requires a responsible, self motivated, well organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities



Responsibilities include:



Regional support for OS deployment technologies

Provide Level III (Expert Level) support for Desktop Field Teams

Provides rapid response to regional issues and outages

Provides Level III support for other service providers

Provide technical support to the PC Project Planning and Implementation Teams

Coaches and provides technical training to the Desktop Field Team Analysts

Perform end user training when necessary

Work under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Possess a customer/user - focused attitude.

Interface with team members, clients, customers, and vendors.

PC user support, new hire systems setups, and desktop/laptop software evaluations and upgrades

Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements

Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal computers

This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PC's, and IP networking



Candidate should have working knowledge with:



Advanced Windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Windows Sysprep

Advanced MS Office support experience, including Outlook

VBScript, WMI, WSH, and Windows command-line technologies

Microsoft Active Directory Administration experience (GPO, user accounts, etc.)

  • LAN/WAN architecture and troubleshooting

  • Application packaging using Macrovision Install Shield standard MSI technology

    Experience with Microsoft BDD2007, SMS, OSD and WindowsPE preferred

  • Change managment



    The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of related technical support experience.
