Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Web Application Developer to work in a leading Marketing Communications firm on a contract to hire basis. This will be located in Midtown Manhattan.
This person will design, develop and produce and maintain a wide variety of data-driven deliverables, including but not limited to systems, applications, graphics, and campaigns based on client specifications.
Works in conjunction with, or with guidance and input from, the Systems Team Manager. Acts as subject matter expert to assist in software and system functional specifications.
Specifically, this developer will work on a team of two that develops customized web marketing solutions for a variety of clients. Our client is a Microsoft based shop but the development may differ depending on the client's needs.
Therefore we are looking for a solid web developer with a background in C++. Experience with ASP.NET is preferred. Any open source development experience including PHP would be a huge plus.
Most database work will be done in SQL, so backend development with SQL Server is required. Must have experience creating stored procedures, triggers and tables.
Experience with Crystal Reports or MS Reporting Services is preferred.
