Genesis10 has an opening for a .net developer in New York City. This position can be consulting but right to hire is preferred.
We are looking for:
- A hands-on software technologist to lead architecture/design efforts for new/existing applications of various kinds
- A strong architect who is very conversant and hands-on with a wide range of MS technologies is the requirement.
- Candidate must be comfortable with working in multitasking environment with demanding users who expect things to be delivered "yesterday"
- Someone to interact with business users and Business Analyst team to gather/analyze requirements
- Someone to architect, design and develop robust, efficient mid-size but complex applications
- To provide technology direction to the organization, adopt new technologies as applicable, supervise other very sharp and experienced developers, provide solution to complex technical problems to them
Experience: Technical Expertise:
- Outstanding experience and expertise in MS.NET technologies (at least 4-5 years of .NET experience required)
- Would prefer candidates with background in classic Windows (C/C++, Windows API, older versions of Visual Studio/COM/DCOM/COM+ etc.)
- Comprehensive expertise of .NET 2.0 is required. Experience with .NET 3.0 is coveted
- Must have comprehensive experience in windows forms and multithreading programming, C#, XML, ADO.NET etc.
- Must have good expertise in some of the following server side technologies: BizTalk 2006, SharePoint 2007, .NET 3.0 Workflow Foundation Server, Communication Server etc.
- Experience with Excel programming in VBA/.NET using Visual Tools for Office (VSTO) is required
- Some experience with VS Team Solution will be a PLUS
- SQL Server expertise is a PLUS, not required
- Good verbal/written communication skills required
- Experience in Financial industry and working knowledge in the financial domain is a HUGE plus but not mandatory
