Basic Function:
As part of M&T's Central Technology Division the Senior Staff Specialist would be part of the Intranet & Retail Distributed Systems team.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Staff Specialist would assist and/or lead medium and large projects for the Branch Web Applications team, which could consist of internal and/or offshore resources.
Would be required to perform systems analysis, production support as well as project management
Must understand the distributed computing environment: servers, databases, networking and security
The candidate should also have a good understanding of the banks data and their source systems, e.g., customer fields, balance fields, employee fields etc.
Will also be required to evaluate business requirements and provide guidance to the development team.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of two to four years college with at least five years experience in a Systems Development environment
3 -5 years Coldfusion
SQL database
Project Management / Project Lead
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to present to a target audience
Ideal Qualifications:
JSP
Oracle database
Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science or related field of study
Good understanding of the Bank's application framework
