Our midtown based client is looking for a Junior ETL Developer, who has at least 4 years experience in either Data Integrator on Informatica (ETL Tools). The ideal candidate will also have some Universe Design experience and Webi Reporting Tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, build, test, implement and support ETL solutions for multiple subject areas sourced from disparate data sources used in the media industry.
- Perform data quality analysis, gather information to determine data sources, data targets, data definitions, data relationships, document business rules, and develop data quality metrics
- Design mappings for Data Capture, Staging, Cleansing, transforming, Loading, and Auditing
- Design workflow and schedules for automated data loading
- Unit, system and regression testing of all ETL jobs
- knowledge of formal data modeling methodologies
- Develop ETL design documentation include source/target mapping and data dictionary information

Qualifications
- Four year college degree in a scientific or technical field
- 2+ years experience building data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
- 2+ years experience as a ETL developer.
- 2+ years of database design expertise in major Relational Data Management Systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- Experience in Implementing/Supporting core Business Objects products (e.g. Business Data Integrator, Business Objects Enterprise; Designer; WebIntelligence; or Dashboard Manager).
- Good to high-level knowledge of servers operating systems (Windows and UNIX and AIX).
- knowledge of web technologies (HTML), application server environments (JAVA) and web servers (IIS and Apache Tomcat)
- Experience and/or certification in any combination of the following SQL, Oracle, DB2 and BusinessObjects a definite plus.
