Our client is seeking a senior Oracle DBA to design, implement and manage their SQL Server Database environment. This individual will be part of a DBA team. This individual will be working in both OLTP and DSS environments.
·Performance tune Oracle databases
·Backup and recovery, general administration, migration of
databases between various versions and other DBA activities
·Support high volume websites and supporting large databases is a must
·Worked with Oracle cluster environment and replication
·Conceptualize, design and implement complex solutions
·Support and work within standard software development life cycle practices.
·Handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility in work hours.
·Exposure to Shareplex is a plus
·Ability to write scripts on Bourne/C Shell. Familiarity to Perl is expected.
