6 month contract to direct hire or direct hire SQA Engineer.
2 opening, 1 3-5 year and the other 5+ years experience.
Proficient in the use the Mercury Interactive automated tool suite, specifically Winrunner and Loadrunner, to run Windows .net based application through the entire test cycle (regression, load testing, etc).
The ideal candidate will be a person who has a testing background and has supported regression or load/performance testing as well as possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
The chosen candidate will receive only minimal guidance and must be able to hit the ground running.
Must be able to work well within all levels of the software development and testing life cycle. Some experience with developing manual test scripts is beneficial.
Also responsible for defining and utilizing automation tools and methodologies as well as creating, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts, and establishing scripting standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Write test plans, and document bugs
Interface with various departments, including Development, Operations and Product Management
Experience: Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of solid Automated SQA using Mercury Interactive testing experience
Knowledge of WinRunner, LoadRunner, Test Director or other testing tools
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Experience with standard testing methodologies and processes
Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions
Full lifecycle project experience
SQL query development
Defect tracking tool usage
Test management tool usage
