Basic Function:
As part of M&T's Loan Controls Division, the Project Analyst IV would work closely with the Commercial Delivery Systems Support technical team.
Responsibilities:
The Project Analyst IV would participate in the gathering and analysis of information for defining business and functional requirements, development and implementation of the final project.
Performs routine to complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies.
Implements modifications to solve problems
Assists in day-to-day support of assigned applications
Responsible for Loan Controls applications from a functional perspective and will work closely with the Commercial Delivery Systems support technical team.
Assists the client in addressing problems/issues of any scope
Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and makes recommendations.
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations to fulfill business requirements.
Converts business requirements into functional specifications on any scope assignments.
Develops of oversees the development of project assessments and plans to include activities to be performed, estimated timeframes and effort.
May project manage small to medium scope project efforts, direct junior resources and coordinate tasks.
Develops or oversees the development of test plans and scripts, performs client testing for routine to complex processes to ensure proper system functioning.
Provides consultation services to clients, technicians and Bank departments on basic to intricate functions of supported applications.
This may also include the review of system capabilities, operational procedures, forms, marketing materials, or cost analysis.
Maintains a detailed functional understanding of the supported applications CRS, WEBACE in order to support production and issues as they arise.
Participates in planning and implementing new policies and procedures that will improve the performance and effectiveness of the department.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of two to four years' college with at least six years experience in a technology/systems analysis or operational support environment.
Requires strong analytical skills and communication skills
Must be able to quickly grasp new concepts
Demonstrates a high aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution
Understands development processes and technical concepts
Detail oriented, self motivated; takes initiative to learn new skills and enhance overall knowledge
Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model when leading or directing others
Strong knowledge of personal computers and the ability to proficiently use MS Project, word and spreadsheet applications
Must possess strong time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelors or MBA preferred
Systems or operations experience in Commercial Loan systems, AFS, Floorplan, Datalink, Commercial Leasing, that work in conjunction with CRS, WebACE
Able to work effectively with client personnel in various organizational positions
Very good project management skills
Understanding of the Loan Control area's functional and operational environment
Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments
