Job Title:Account Director
Job Location : New York

Job Summary:
Manages multiple lines of business within a single client relationship or multiple clients through the ability to understand client marketing and business objectives and develops high-level strategic plans. Drives strategic plans and objectives for clients within the agency and monitors efforts to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Manages internal resource allocation and costs towards profitability. Support company financial goals by growing accounts and nurturing new relationships.

Responsibilities:
Single point of accountability within Sapient for a determined set of client relationships
Develops and cultivates relationships with clients at the most senior levels
Understand the unique opportunities and challenges of the markets in which the Clients under management operate
Stays abreast of trends in the digitally enabled world and how the affect clients’ business and marketing initiatives
Drives strategic initiatives for clients towards specific measurable business goals
Responsible for driving commercial contributions towards company growth as well as account profitability
Communicates and disseminates client requests to team; manages client expectations; manages internal communications and external communication with vendors, media partners
Generates project and creative briefs to illustrate the essential elements of a project including objectives, strategies, target audience, background, and executional considerations
Develops case studies on clients’ business

Experience Guidelines:
8 -10 years of experience of account management in an agency environment.
Strong interactive background a must
Accountability for budget or client revenue of $4mm+
3+ years of client executive experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships at the Director and Vice President levels
Experienced with multiple campaign lifecycles from business development to final delivery
Experience leading teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, media and strategy)
Frequent travel may be required

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
