Senior Project Manager/Analyst in New York, NY

Our client has a long term contract opportunity for a SR Project Manager / Analyst in their Manhattan office.

The candidate will own a project involving a large and highly complex data warehouse coupled with a suite of technology based products that enable campaign execution and measurement, analytics, modeling, and business insights reporting.

The Project Manager, Capability Development will join this team and manage one or more key Product areas as follows:

Work across various business teams and technologies to define new/enhanced product requirements

Manage project deliverables and monitor and summarize project progress

Prepare project plans and other supporting information, and provide upper management with product status.

Manage customer expectations including scope, schedule, changes, and problem resolution.

Manage technology budget for assigned product areas ensuring high quality technology deliverables within agreed to project budgets.

Drive on-time, high quality project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a strong technical background and 10 years of product/project management or business systems analysis experience in information management, direct marketing, or technologies.

The candidate must have 5 years of experience managing large Technology projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A four year college degree is required.

This position requires the following skills:

Strong product/project management skills with proven record in driving results; ability to coordinate and prioritize concurrent activities within deadline-driven climate.

In depth experience working with a highly complex data architecture and infrastructure.

Demonstrated experience using Method 1 and/or other systems development lifecycle.

Recent experience leading successful development projects of varying size and complexity.

Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to interact equally effectively with Customers and with Technologies and across all levels of the organization.

Excellent problem solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations)

Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of problems and generate possible courses of action.

Team player with demonstrated ability in collaborating across one or more partner organizations.

Strong customer focus and management of user relationships.

Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
