Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: NY, NY (Financial district,WTC)
Duration: 1 yr contract
The Sr. Data Quality Analyst will join this team and provide leadership in the following areas:
Integration of new data into a highly complex Data Warehouse.
Understanding existing data relationships and driving Data Quality Improvement initiatives.
Providing support to end Customers in understanding data content.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a strong technical background and a minimum of 5 years of in depth data analysis experience.
The candidate must be highly effective in a customer facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
A four year college degree is required.
This position requires the following skills:
In depth experience working with a highly complex data architecture and infrastructure.
Ability to perform in depth data analysis and testing using complex tools such as SAS.
Ability to analyze data quality and make recommendations to improve data quality.
Ability to work with delivery teams to ensure understanding and correct use of data.
Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to interact effectively across the Business and Technologies.
Excellent problem solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations)
Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of problems and generate possible courses of action.
Team player with demonstrated ability in collaborating with other team members.
Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
Additional skills are a strong plus:
Project management experience
