My client, a publishing company located in lower Manhattan, is in immediate need for an experienced Help Desk Support Specialist. This is a contract with potential to hire. The Help Desk Analyst must be a quick thinker and learner, someone that is comfortable working in a team as well as working alone. Our client wants a Help Desk Support Specialist that can assist the end user in walking them through issues and teaching them along the way. Very good communication skills are required for this position. Must be comfortable supporting end users via phone. The Help Desk Analyst will provide his/her technical expertise to the environment but must also possess great people skills in training the end users on dealing with future issues. </font color="maroon"> <br><br>

Experience: <u>Knowledge and Experience in the following is required: </u> <br>
&#149; Experience working as a Help Desk Analyst<br>
&#149; <b>Excellent costumer support skills <b><br>
&#149; Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot<b> Windows 2000/XP </B>operating systems<BR>
&#149; <b>Must</b> have experience working with <b>Active Directory</b>.
&#149; Must have working experience with <b>MS Server and Exchange 2000/2003</b> <br>
&#149; Extensive understanding of <b>MS Office 2000/2003</B>applications.<BR>
&#149; Advanced knowledge of remote access applications and troubleshooting. <br>
&#149; Proven computer hardware troubleshooting experience. <BR>
&#149; Knowledge of <b>Citrix, Palm Pilots, and Blackberry devices </b> and software. <BR>
&#149; Experience troubleshooting Printers (both network and stand alones). <BR><br>
