Responsibilities will include:
Creating and optimizing SQL Server stored procedures
Trouble shooting issues with MS SQL server
Monitoring overall health of SQL Server
Upgrading SQL Server as necessary
Helping software engineers create and optimize SQL queries
Analysis / troubleshooting of existing applications
Designing and implementing changes to existing code
Communicating effectively with software engineers and management
Experience: call for details, BA / BS in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with various levels of staff.
Ability to analyze / troubleshoot applications with little or no help from other staff.
