I am conducting a search on behalf of my client a major insurance company for a Business Analyst-Agency related.This is a fulltime opportunity based in NYC with a salary range to $65,000, sponsorship is also available if needed.Major ResponsibilitiesThe Business Analyst will act as one of the principal contact points between Individual Markets - Distribution & Development (IM-D&D) and IT. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining a high level of operational excellence by ensuring that the technology needs of IM-D&D's management and its customer, the General Agencies, are met in an effective and efficient manner. The responsibilities of this role will include participation in the following activities: Participate with the User in Business Analysis and development of Business Requirements. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Review, including writing and executing test plans, following up on reporting and re-testing any errors and other related items found during this testing. In concert with the Business User writing needed business documentation Attending Product, Project, and Team sessions as required Facilitating departmental reporting using tools such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel.
Experience: RequirementsExperience in writing a variety of business documents, including business systems requirements and end user documentation. Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel required. Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to non-technical business users. Minimum of 1-2years experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in agency-related business functions and their systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Flexibility to handle multiple projects, respond to rapidly changing priorities, and accept and work with tight deadlines.Bachelors Degree or equivalent
