Basic Function:On a project basis, participates in the gathering and analysis of information for defining functional requirements, functional designs, development and implementation of the final project.Responsibilities:Peforms routine to complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies. Implements modifications to solve problems. Assists in day to day support. Assists the client in addressing problems/issues of any scope. Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and makes recommendations. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations to fulfill business requirements. Converts business requirements into functional specifications and functional designs on any scope assignments. Plays a key role and an individual contributor on projects. Develops or oversees the development of project assessments and plans to include activities to be performed, estimated timeframes and effort. Manage small to medium scope project efforts, direct junior resources and coordinate tasks. Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented. Develops or oversees the development of test plans and scripts, performs client testing for routine to complex processes to ensure proper system functioning. Provides consultation services to clients, technicians and Bank departments on basic to intricate functions of supported applications. Basic Skills:- Minimum of two to four years college with at least six years experience in a technology/systems analysis or operational support environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. -  Requires a detailed understanding of the client area's functions, strong analytical skills and communication skills. -  Demonstrates a high aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution. Understands development processes and technical concepts. -  General knowledge of personal computers and the ability to proficiently use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications. -  Very familiar with what and how supported application(s) functions are used by the client. -  Very good understanding of the Bank's application framework.-  Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business area's functions and operational environment.-  Detail oriented, self motivated; takes initiative to learn new skills and enhance    overall knowledge. -  Must possess time management skills and organization skills. -  Very good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to the target audience. -  Able to work effectively with client personnel in various organizational positions.-  Quickly grasps new concepts. -  Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model when leading or directing others. -  Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments. -  Very good project management skills. -  Able to lead or actively participate in vendor demonstrations, project presentations, design sessions, etc. Ideal Skills:-  Seven to ten years experience in Item Processing or similiar transaction processing operations or technical environment.-  Experience with Item Processing Software applications such as: Check Solutions/Check Free check processing applications, Multi-Site Utilities, Online Reconcilement System (ORSS), Automated Cash Letter System (ACLS), Sort Pattern Generator (SPG), CPCS or SuperMICRCarreker Branch Truncation Manager, SEI MICR8000, FSS Image Reject Correction System, Metavante VECTOR:Sort-   Experience with distributed item processing applications
