The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or satisfactory combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Software Design Patterns and Code Refactoring Techniques is required. Qualified prospects will have prior experience working with Web Services and .Net remoting. Knowledge of COM+ and .NET Windows Services is paramount. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop data dictionary, database designDevelop "Process Flow Overview" diagrams for user design reviewsParticipate in design efforts at a feature levelDevelop prototype Web pages for user review and modify as required, for each module to be developedDevelop multiple modules using .NET in SQL or Oracle database environmentUnder the direction of the Project Manager, develop code for each application function in the design specificationsInitiate design and code reviews before committing to a definite solution for each module developedDevelop a testing plan and conduct unit and integration testing and debugging on developed code. Work closely with users to coordinate user testingParticipate in development of conversion and implementation plan. Lead conversion mapping from existing to new databases, conduct conversion and coordinate data reconciliation with user business analysts.Develop post-implementation code as changes and fixes are required by the users.
