Working on production problems with clients and handling small to medium project tasks working directly with the clients. Interviewing internal customers for requirements and specifications. Interacting with internal customers during the design, development, testing and implementation phases of the projects.
Experience: Perform production support software development, analysis, and system configuration work in the distributed computing application environment. The candidate will work with both vendor software packages and in-house applications. The person should be proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of development tools - VB.Net, VB6, VS.Net, ASP.NET, Classic ASP, TSQL MS SQL Server working in with Microsoft Reporting Packages: Crystal, ActiveReports. Operating Systems: WIN2000, 2003, Microsoft IIS. Other experience that would be desirable is PowerBuilder, Sybase, Foxpro, Unix, MS Access. The candidate must be able to develop project documentation: Technical specifications, flowcharts, test plans, implementation plans, etc- Must be familiar with both Intranet-based applications as well as client/server. Experience in Server configurations and trouble shooting including IIS, FTP configuration and maintenance.
