Our client, a leading provider of Application Software, is looking to hire an Applications Trainer. This is a virtual office position. All candidates must be located an hour from a major metropolitan airport and must be WILLING TO TRAVEL 80% OF THE TIME.

This position carries responsibility for Training design, and on-site Instructor Led Training.

Responsibilities:
Train customers and partners to install and technically support their client contact center solutions built upon general purpose
Train customers and partners to Design and configure advanced applications, including ACD, IVR, CTI, Predictive Dialing, and call recording, and more.
Train in-house, partner and customer QA, Development, Project Management, and Technical Operations personnel to understand, use, and troubleshoot client products and the Microsoft platform it runs on.

Job Requirements:
. 5+ years of technical training and courseware development experience with a proven track record of success.
. Experience with courseware development and training projects
. Ability to gather requirements, perform instructional designs, get buy-in by stake-holders, and lead the development effort, assist in developing education marketing collateral.
. Familiar with Instructional Design and the ADDIE process.
. Ability to assist in identifying, defining, and refining processes (in both course development and delivery).
. Technical background must include significant experience with, and knowledge of: Visual Application Software, IP networks, telephony, and the related technical standards.
. Must be customer service oriented, and must have a track record of consistently exceeding customer expectations.
. Facility with MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Access.
. Independent and self-motivated
. Previous experience in Field Service or Customer Support is an advantage
. Experience as a software developer is a plus
. The ideal candidate will be MCT certified.

Technical Skills & Areas of Expertise
. Understanding of Traditional and VOIP telephony is preferred.
. SQL skills
. Strong PC background including basic hardware, installing and testing of software, and Microsoft Windows is a must.
. Networking knowledge
