Software Security ConsultantThe PositionThis is an opportunity to work with and be part of a passionate and energetic team that is backed by a world-class group of experts from academia and industry.Positions are also available in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Washington D.C.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of a Software Security Consultant are broad and may vary depending on your level of experience and skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:? Scanning customer source code, auditing results with development and/or security teams and offering plans for remediation of vulnerabilities.? Installing and configuring the company's products onsite for customers.? Communicating technical application security concepts to customer staff including developers, architects, and managers.? Training customer staff on application security and the company's products.? Assessing and scoping of customer's application security needs.? Contributing to project planning and other project deliverables.? Customizing the implementation of the company's production and test products.? Contributing to the company Knowledge Base and Best Practices.? Interfacing with Product Management and Engineering to enhance products.? Play an important role in developing and maintaining the company's image and reputation in the marketplace.? As most work is conducted at customer sites extensive travel may be required.Technical QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have:? 0-7 years experience in role of software or security consulting.? 0-7 years experience in software development using Java, Microsoft .NET (C# or VB), or C/C++.? Experience using build tools (i.e. ant, make, maven, msbuild, nant, etc.)? Fundamental understanding of software, computer, and network architectures.? Experience with multiple operating systems is strongly desired.? CISSP, CISA, CCP MCP/MCSE and SANS certification is a plus.? Experience in the enterprise security or application security is a plus.? Passion for competition and the ability to maintain personable relationships with all internal and external customers.? A Technical Bachelor's degree is required.CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:?
